Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro was born on February 5, 1985, in Madeira, Portugal to Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro and José Diniz Aveiro. Cristiano has an elder brother, Hugo and two elder sisters, Elma and Liliana Cátia. His name was inspired by the former US-president, Ronald Reagan, whom his father was influenced by.

The island of Madeira was also the place where Cristiano first learned to master his skills as a soccer player. He spent his early years playing for his local team, Nacional, and by the time he turned 12 years old, he already made his name for himself as one of Madeira's top soccer player. It wasn't long before he started to catch the attention of other big Portuguese clubs.

David Beckham

David Robert Joseph Beckham, OBE (born 2 May 1975) is an English footballer who plays midfield for Los Angeles Galaxy in Major League Soccer, having previously played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, and A.C. Milan, as well as the England national team, for whom he holds the all-time appearance record for an outfield player.Beckham's career began when he signed a professional contract with Manchester United, making his first-team debut in 1992 aged 17.During his time there, United won the Premier League title six times, the FA Cup twice, and the UEFA Champions League in 1999.

RONALDINHO

Brazil has blessed this planet with two incredible gifts. Beautiful women, and footballers who play beautiful football. Neymar is far from the first Brazilian to dazzle the world with goals and flair, he is just simply the latest. Neymar is now preparing to have his name mentioned a long with some of the Before Neymar there was Ronaldinho, who thrilled fans with his creativity and ability to score from distance. Before Ronaldinho there was Ronaldo, who in his heyday was arguably the greatest striker who ever lived. Of course, the first Brazilian to bless the planet with his great ability was Pele, the man many consider to be the best player to ever play the game.

ROONIE

There's a certain individual with plenty of making up to do, and he goes by the name of Wayne Rooney. The unwanted ramifications of the England forward's crass stupidity in swearing into a TV camera after scoring at West Ham were plain for all to see at Wembley as a Rooney-less Manchester United slid to defeat to their local rivals City to extinguish hopes of repeating their 1999 treble.
United simply aren't the same side without their talismanic star, who was forced to watch from the sidelines as he

completed his two-match suspension for the ill-advised four-letter rant. How it showed in the 1-0 set-back.

Kaka dismisses rumours linking him with Real Madrid exit

Real Madrid midfielder Kaka has denied he will be leaving the Spanish giants over the summer transfer window.
The 28-year-old is disappointed rumours have persisted linking his ankle, thigh and knee injuries with a desire to leave the club.
